Cardiac Rehab – A Giving Heart Fund
Assisting patients with co-pays for Cardiac Rehabilitation
The Cardiac Rehab – A Giving Heart fund was developed to assist patients who are referred to Northern Regional Hospital for cardiac rehabilitation but are unable to afford their co-pays or coinsurance for the 12-week, 36-visit program.
Program participants are led through recovery from a cardiac event or diagnosis by a team of experts at Northern Regional Hospital including the program coordinator, exercise specialists, physicians, physical therapists and a dietitian.
In addition, this fund can help provide proper shoes for patients as well as assist in purchasing new equipment and technology for the Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
